The Dog Turbo is a slightly harder toy to master for those smart dogs. Put dog treats into the passages. There are holes at the end of each passage (on the sides of the toy), all your dog needs to do is move the block along with their paw or nose to push the treat out of the holes. But, there is no cheating because the blocks cannot be lifted out.
When your first start to use the Dog Turbo, make it a little easier for your dog so they understand what they need to do by placing the treat close to the holes on the side of the toy. If they start to lick or bite the toy, put your hand over the dog treat until they stop. Don't forget to praise and give lots of encouragement when they start to do the right thing.
When your dog understands how to play the game, you can make it even harder by:
- Place the blocks in the round circle in the middle of the toy with the dog treats in the passages. Your dog has to now move the blocks into the passages from the circle.
- Place all the blocks to one side of the Dog Turbo and the dog treats on the other side.
- To make it even harder, place the blocks to the very far side right next to the holes and the dog treats on the other side.
